The City University of New York Athletic Conference annually recognizes its best and brightest student-athletes, who not only excel in athletics, but succeed in the classroom as well. Over the next few weeks, CUNYAC will recognize those who truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete.
Keshawn Ross, a representative of the York College men's cross country and track & field teams, owns a 3.165 grade-point average, majoring in Movement Science.
During the 2018-19 academic year, Keshawn garnered CUNYAC All-Star status in both the indoor and outdoor seasons. In 2019, Keshawn earned a spot on the CUNYAC Indoor Track & Field Sportsmanship Team for the third-straight season.
Serving as a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Team Representative, he also represented York on the Sportsmanship Team for cross country and outdoor track & field in 2019. Keshawn was a mainstay at CUNYAC Championships, competing in a total of eight between cross country (2017-19), indoor track & field (2017-2020) and outdoor track & field (2018-19).
The Rosedale, NY native is a two-time Dean's List honoree and student-athlete mentor.
