CUNYAC Scholar Athlete of the Year: Sully Corneille, Queensborough

The City University of New York Athletic Conference annually recognizes its best and brightest student-athletes, who not only excel in athletics, but succeed in the classroom as well. Over the next few weeks, CUNYAC will recognize those who truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete.

Sully Corneille, a member of the Queensborough Community College men's soccer program, owns a strong 3.4 grade-point average with a major in Business Administration.

Corneille was an asset for the Tigers back line in 2019, earning Second Team NJCAA All-Region XV honors. In addition to his strong play on defense, Corneille showed offensive prowess, providing five goals and three assists for 13 points.

Corneille helped Queensborough win the 2019 CUNYAC Regular Season Championship, reaching the conference tournament final for a seventh consecutive season.

In the Fall, Corneille will be attending Queens College.
