The City University of New York Athletic Conference annually recognizes its best and brightest student-athletes, who not only excel in athletics, but succeed in the classroom as well. Over the next few weeks, CUNYAC will recognize those who truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete.
Jack Santoro, a member of the Baruch College men's cross country team, owns a terrific 3.95 grade-point average, majoring in Accounting with a double minor in Philosophy and Advanced Business Analysis. He is a Baruch Athletic Director's Academic Honor Roll honoree and a CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll recipient.
Santoro was recently awarded the 2020 Dean Francis J. Connelly Scholarship Award, which is presented to a Zicklin School of Business student who demonstrates academic excellence, leadership, and service.
Santoro also earned the Baruch SAAC Leadership Award in 2018 and ran a 30:55 at the 2017 CUNYAC Finals. He is a member of the Beta Alpha Psi International Business Honor Society.
In addition, Jack has helped low-income individuals and families file their tax returns for free with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program during 2018. Upon graduation, Jack intends to intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in their Tax Transfer Pricing group before heading to law school to pursue a career as a tax attorney.
