The City University of New York Athletic Conference annually recognizes its best and brightest student-athletes, who not only excel in athletics, but succeed in the classroom as well. Over the next few weeks, CUNYAC will recognize those who truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete.
Noah Dougherty, a multi-sport student-athlete at Hunter College, owns a spectacular 3.944 grade-point average. The Bovina Center native is double majoring in Philosophy and Political Science with a minor in Human Rights.
As a member of the Hawks men's soccer squad, Dougherty made 35 career appearances in goal. In 2019, Dougherty racked up a team-best 58 saves, guiding Hunter to its first CUNYAC Men's Soccer Championship final since 2016.
Dougherty also spent two seasons with the men's tennis program, earning singles and doubles victories over York College.
In addition, Dougherty is a Thomas Hunter Honors Scholar and a 2020 Grove Fellowship member, participating in Charles Platkin's Cohort.
