The City University of New York Athletic Conference annually recognizes its best and brightest student-athletes, who not only excel in athletics, but succeed in the classroom as well. Over the next few weeks, CUNYAC will recognize those who truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete.
Nadder Munassar, a member of the John Jay College men's soccer team, boasts a strong 3.761 grade-point average, majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Law.
A three-year captain, Munassar was a champion on and off the field. The defender was the anchor of the Bloodhounds' backfield, playing in the middle. Nadder's stellar play helped guide the program to its first-ever CUNYAC Men's Soccer championship and NCAA Division III Regional appearance. For his efforts, the Egypt native was named the team's most valuable player.
