CUNYAC Scholar Athlete of the Year: Muhammed Bajo, Bronx

The City University of New York Athletic Conference annually recognizes its best and brightest student-athletes, who not only excel in athletics, but succeed in the classroom as well. Over the next few weeks, CUNYAC will recognize those who truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete.

Muhammed Bajo, a member of the Bronx Community College men's soccer team, owns an impressive 3.79 grade-point average. Bajo is a Liberal Arts and Science major with a concentration in Biology.

The Bronx native appeared in eight games in 2019, making six starts. Bajo found the back of the net against BMCC and in a victory over Orange.

Bajo works diligently in the classroom, and his academic excellence was recognized through earning NJCAA Region XV All-Academic honors and Bronx's Green & Gold Club accolades.
