The City University of New York Athletic Conference annually recognizes its best and brightest student-athletes, who not only excel in athletics, but succeed in the classroom as well. Over the next few weeks, CUNYAC will recognize those who truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete.
Kendra Moore, a member of the Hunter College women's volleyball team, owns an impressive 3.561 grade-point average. The Andover, MA native is double majoring in Childhood Education and Psychology.
Moore helped Hunter win the CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Championship in each season of play. The middle blocker is a two-time CUNYAC All-Sportsmanship Team honoree, and in 2019 earned CUNYAC First Team All-Star recognition.
Last season, Moore started 27 matches, accumulating 183 kills and 61 blocks. Kendra finished with six kills and a block in the championship match against Brooklyn College, securing the program's sixth consecutive conference title.
In addition, Moore is a member of the CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.
