The City University of New York Athletic Conference annually recognizes its best and brightest student-athletes, who not only excel in athletics, but succeed in the classroom as well. Over the next few weeks, CUNYAC will recognize those who truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete.
Jessica Gorman, a member of the John Jay College women's basketball team, carries a strong 3.73 grade-point average as a Political Science major.
The Bergenfield, NJ native was a positive influence on and off the court. The forward appeared in 74 games and totaled 370 points, 404 rebounds, 63 steals, 44 assists, and 16 blocks. She also added 55 three-pointers to her repertoire.
Off the court, Gorman served on the John Jay Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Executive Board for two years. She is also a member of the John Jay Athletics Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
