The City University of New York Athletic Conference annually recognizes its best and brightest student-athletes, who not only excel in athletics, but succeed in the classroom as well. Over the next few weeks, CUNYAC will recognize those who truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete.
Jorge Nunez, a member of the Hunter College men's fencing team, sports a strong 3.667 grade-point average, majoring in Media Studies.
Last season, the Bronx native won 11 Epee bouts and finished 50
th at the NCAA Regional Championships.
As a rookie, Nunez posted victories against Yeshiva University, NJIT, John Hopkins, and the University of Detroit Mercy.
