CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Jeremy Berman, Baruch

The City University of New York Athletic Conference annually recognizes its best and brightest student-athletes, who not only excel in athletics, but succeed in the classroom as well. Over the next few weeks, CUNYAC will recognize those who truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete.

Jeremy Berman, a member of the Baruch College men's tennis team, owns a solid 3.96 grade-point average, majoring in Finance with a minor in Political Science.

The New Rochelle native was a member of the Bearcat squads that captured back-to-back CUNYAC Men's Tennis championships in 2018 and 2019, going on to represent Baruch and the CUNYAC at the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship. Berman was perfect against conference foes in his career, posting an unblemished 9-0 singles record.

In addition to his athletic accolades, Jeremy is a two-time Athletic Director's Academic Honor Roll member, as well as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete and CUNYAC Winter/Spring Scholar-Athlete in 2019-20.

Jeremy plans to work in the field of finance after graduation.
