NEW YORK - The Baruch College Athletic Department is proud to announce the promotion of
Brady Ambro to Head Coach of Women's Volleyball.
A proud Baruch College alumnus, Brady recently completed a successful season as Head Coach of Men's Volleyball Program and will now also lead the women's volleyball program for the upcoming fall season. His commitment to student-athlete development, competitive excellence, and the Bearcat tradition makes him a tremendous fit to guide both programs forwarrd.
The men's team recently completed a successful 2026 spring season, highlighted by runner-up finishes in both the CUNYAC Championship and the ECAC Division III Regional Championship.
Ambro played for the Bearcats from 2013 to 2016 while earning his bachelor's degree in Psychology. As an outside hitter, he helped lead the program to three CUNYAC titles (2013, 2014, 2015) and three NCAA Tournament appearances during that span, including a Final Four run in 2013 in Rochester. His individual accolades include Team Captain honors, the 2016 Team MVP award, the 2016 Baruch College Helen Belden Sportsmanship Award, and First Team All-CUNYAC recognition in 2016.
Ambro's coaching résumé includes serving as an assistant coach for the Baruch men's volleyball team during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, along with additional coaching experience at the collegiate level.
