New York, New York – After capturing back-to-back championships for the first time since the 2016 and 2017 seasons with their league-best 14th CUNYAC Community College Men's Soccer Championship in 2023, the BMCC men's soccer program announced their 2024 competition schedule on Friday. The 12-match slate includes five matchups at Pier 40, where the Panthers have posted a 41-16 record since 2011 while heading away from Downtown Manhattan for the other seven.

Modou Seck returns for his 10th season at the helm of the BMCC men's soccer program, sporting an overall 72-40-8 record (.633), including a 56-26-5 record (.672) against Region 15 opponents and a 25-7-1 mark (.772) against CUNYAC competition to go along with five CUNYAC Community College championships (2016, 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023) and eight straight Conference Championship appearances. 

The Panthers head up to New Rochelle to kick off the 2024 season on the road against Region XV opponent Monroe-Bronx in their season-opener (Sept. 5) before returning to Pier 40 five days later with the first of three straight CUNYAC matches with their home opener against Bronx Community College (Sept. 10) and on the road two days later against LaGuardia Community College (Sept. 12) to end the week. After BMCC concludes their three-game conference set on the road against Queensborough Community College (Sept. 17), the Panthers finish the month of September with two of their final matches at home, beginning with Ulster County Community College (Sept. 19), then heading away from Manhattan for their next two against Rockland Community College (Sept. 21) and 2023 Region XV Champion Nassau Community College (Sept. 24) and concluding at Pier 40 in a rematch of the 2023 CUNYAC Community College Men's Soccer Championship over the weekend against Kingsborough Community College (Sept. 28) at 12:30 p.m..

The Panthers turn the calendar to October with three straight Region 15 matchups at home against Dutchess Community College (Oct. 1) and back-to-back road contests against Suffolk County Community College (Oct. 5) and Orange County Community College (Oct. 8) at 4 p.m. before closing out their regular season at home against Westchester Community College (Oct. 12) at 12:30 p.m. 

The 2024 CUNYAC Men's Soccer Championship Game will occur on Sunday, October 20th, at Queens College in Queens, New York. BMCC is looking to be the first program in the last eight seasons to win three straight Conference Championships since Queensborough Community College accomplished that feat in 2013, 2014, and 2015. They will begin that quest with preseason tryouts starting Monday, August 5th, at Red Hook Park in Brooklyn, New York. The two-and-a-half-hour tryout (8 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.) will last three weeks and wrap up on Sunday, August 25th. For information on tryouts, click here.
