FLUSHING, N.Y. (October 20, 2023) – The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) has announced the 2023 Community College men's soccer all-star selections, as voted upon by the league's head coaches.
 
Kingsborough's Keithlend Cesar was voted Player of the Year, while BMCC's Mamadou Diallo was named CUNYAC Rookie of the Year and head coach Modou Seck was named Coach of the Year.
 
Kingsborough produced five all-conference performers, followed by BMCC (4), Queensborough (2) and Bronx (2).
 
Player of the Year: Keithlend Cesar, Kingsborough
Cesar turned in a strong 2023 campaign for the Wave, leading Kingsborough to a program record for wins (10). He found the back of the net 10 times this season while handing out a team-best seven assists.
 
Rookie of the Year: Mamadou Diallo, BMCC
In his first season with the Panthers, Diallo was sensational, leading the team in points (28) and goals (11). He has scored in nine games this season, including three multi-goal performances. In the CUNYAC final against Kingsborough, he registered a goal and one assist to help BMCC capture a second consecutive league title.
 
Coach of the Year: Modou Seck, BMCC
In his ninth season at the helm, Seck earned CUNYAC Coach of the Year honors for a five time in his career. He led BMCC to its first regular season championship since 2018 and a second straight conference title.
