Talk About It Tuesdays Recap: CUNY Athletic Conference Town Hall

FLUSHING, N.Y. – The City University of New York Athletic Conference held its third town hall discussion as a part of the conference’s ‘Talk About It Tuesdays’ webinar series. Talk About It Tuesdays is programming provided by the conference to serve as educational resources for our student body across CUNY's 25 campuses.

The session featured Zak Ivkovic, CUNYAC Commissioner, and Ryan McCarthy, Director of Athletes at Bronx Community College. Hosted by CUNY's Inclusive Sports Advisor Ryan Martin, the panelists provided further updates regarding the 2020-21 athletic year from the NCAA and NJCAA perspectives as a follow up to the conference's first two town halls on Aug. 25 and Sept. 29. The group closed out the session with an open forum, allowing for student-athletes, coaches and administrators to ask questions due to the uncertainty surrounding the global COVID-19 pandemic.
