FLUSHING, N.Y. – The City University of New York Athletic Conference held a town hall discussion as part of the league’s ‘Talk About It Tuesdays’ webinar series.

Chetara Murphy, Director of Athletics & Intramurals/SWA/Director of Aquatics at Medgar Evers.

Ryan Martin, the panelists provided available updates regarding the fall sports season from the NCAA and NJCAA perspectives. The group closed out the session with an open forum, allowing for student-athletes, coaches and administrators to ask questions due to the uncertainty surrounding the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Tuesday's broadcast is a part of several sessions hosted by the CUNY Athletic Conference. Talk About It Tuesdays is programming provided by the conference to serve as educational resources for our student body across CUNY's 25 campuses.
The series comprises several programs, ranging from: preparing for the upcoming season mental health, on campus support systems, recruiting and social media, among other programming topics relevant to our students amidst these unprecedented times of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Each of the sessions are free, but registration is required. An abbreviated recap will be available on YouTube and cunyathletics.com soon after each webinar.
