Talk About It Tuesdays Recap: CUNY Athletic Conference Town Hall

FLUSHING, N.Y. – The City University of New York Athletic Conference held a second town hall discussion as part of the league's 'Talk About It Tuesdays' webinar series.

The programming featured Zak Ivkovic, CUNYAC Commissioner, Ryan McCarthy, Director of Athletics at Bronx CC, and Heather Mac Culloch, Director of Athletics at Baruch.

Hosted by CUNY's Inclusive Sports Advisor Ryan Martin, the panelists provided further updates regarding 2020-21 athletic year from the NCAA and NJCAA perspectives as a follow up to the conference's first town hall on Aug. 25. The group closed out the session with an open forum, allowing for student-athletes, coaches and administrators to ask questions due to the uncertainty surrounding the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Tuesday's broadcast is a part of several sessions hosted by the CUNY Athletic Conference. The series comprises several programs, ranging from: preparing for the upcoming season mental health, on campus support systems, recruiting and social media, among other programming topics relevant to our students amidst these unprecedented times of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
