Talk About It Tuesdays Recap: Preparing for My Upcoming Season

FLUSHING, N.Y. – On July 28, the City University of New York Athletic Conference, in collaboration with Hospital for Special Surgery, hosted a panel discussion to kick off our 'Talk About It Tuesdays' webinar series.

The programming featured Jimmy Russomano, Manager of Education at HSS Sports Safety, and Robert Harris, Fitness Center Director at Lehman College. Hosted by CUNY's Inclusive Sports Advisor Ryan Martin, the group engaged in informative dialogue, discussing different workouts for our student-athletes, how to reduce the risk of injury, improving movement quality and more. After the presentation, the group opened it up to the audience for a Q&A session.

One of the many highlights of the session included a discussion about a FREE 30-day Motion Health Challenge, presented by HSS. In an effort to help push the promotion, CUNYAC is challenging its students to participate in the initiative. Register today and be sure to use your CUNY email address to be eligible to win a prize following the completion of the challenge.

Since 2001, Hospital for Special Surgery has been a vital partner to the Cuny Athletic Conference, serving as our Official Hospital. For an unprecedented 11th year in a row, HSS is ranked the No. 1 hospital for orthopedics in the United States by U.S. News and is also recognized as a leader in rheumatalogy at No. 4.
