CUNYAC Men's Swimming Swimmer of the Week
Ramiel Fayngersh, Baruch (Jr., Lynbrook, N.Y.)
Fayngersh won all three of his events at the conference meet against York College on January 5. He won the 200 meter IM (2:25.09), followed by the 100 meter free (58:49), and it off winning the 200 meter freestyle relay as the Bearcats are now 1-0 in the CUNYAC.
CUNYAC Men's Swimming Rookie of the Week
Tenzin Gurung, Baruch (Fr., East Elmhurst, N.Y.)
Gurung recorded two individual event wins in helping the Bearcats win their CUNYAC opener at York College on January 5. He started by winning the 200 meter freestyle (2:11.36), and then won the 100 meter backstroke (1:04.64) to help the Bearcats start the meet strong. He finished second as part of the 200 meter freestyle relay with a time of 1:47.77.
