NEW YORK - Four CUNY Athletic Conference swimming programs were recently recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as Scholar All-America Teams for the spring, 2026 semester.
Baruch College and Lehman College saw both their men's and women's programs honored.
The Bearcat women posted a 3.28 team GPA in the spring, while the Baruch men recorded a 3.48. The Lightning women posted a 3.25 GPA this spring, while the Lehman men registered a 3.37 team GPA.
To earn this prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2026 semester.
“This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition,” said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany. “The 714 teams honored this spring represent the very best of collegiate swimming and diving, demonstrating that academic success and athletic achievement go hand in hand. We congratulate every student-athlete, coach, and institution recognized.”
