2025-26 Men's Swimming & Diving Postseason Awards, All-Conference Team Announced

NEW YORK- The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced its 2025-26 Men's Swimming and Diving postseason awards and All-Conference team on Thursday afternoon.

Baruch junior Ramiel Fayngersh was selected as the Swimmer of the Year, while Bearcat teammate Alexander Boyarsky was named the Rookie of the Year.  Baruch head coach Charles Lampasso was tabbed as the Coach of the Year.

York's Tyrone Morris was tabbed as the winner of the Sportsmanship Award.

Swimmer of the Year: Ramiel Fayngersh, Baruch

Fayngersh is the sixth straight Baruch men's swimmer to capture Swimmer of the Year honors.  This season, he was a three-time CUNYAC Swimmer of the Week and during the regular season held the top time in the conference in four events (100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 200 individual medley). 

At the CUNYAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championship Fayngersh was the Most Valuable Performer of the championship after capturing three individual event victories (100 butterfly (52.57), 200 breaststroke (2:12.86), 200 individual medley 2:01.11)).  He was also a member of four winning Bearcat relays during the three-day meet.

Rookie of the Year: Alexander Boyarsky, Baruch

Boyarsky is the second straight Bearcat to earn Rookie of the Year honors and fourth in five seasons.  During the regular season he held the top times in the conference in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle and was a three-time CUNYAC Rookie of the Week.

During the conference championship, Boyarsky captured gold individually in the 50 freestyle (21.49) and 100 freestyle (47.42), while also being a part of three winning Bearcat freestyle relays during the championship.

Coach of the Year: Charles Lampasso, Baruch

Lampasso earned men's Coach of the Year honors for the 15th time in his career and the seventh straight season.  In 2025-26, Lampasso guided the Bearcats to their eighth straight CUNYAC regular season title, then Baruch captured its eighth straight conference championship.  The Bearcats finished with an 8-2 regular season mark (3-0 CUNYAC) and won 14 individual and relay titles at the conference championship.
