Bearcats Continue to Lead CUNYAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championship

CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL | SATURDAY RESULTS

BRONX, N.Y. - Baruch College widened its lead during day two of the 2026 CUNY Athletic Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Championship on Saturday at the Lehman College APEX.  The Bearcats, who are gunning for their eighth consecutive conference championship, lead Brooklyn College 275-146.

York (35) and Lehman (30) sit third and fourth, respectively.

Baruch won three individual events on Saturday and both relays.  Daniel Vasilkoff touched the wall first in the 400 yard IM (4:33.80), while Ramiel Fayngersh was first in the 100 butterfly (52.57).  Tenzin Gurung took gold in the 100 backstroke (55.87).

The Bearcats were victorious in the 200 medley relay (1:40.44) as well as the 800 free relay (7:38.19).

Brooklyn captured a pair of individual events in the Saturday session.  Michael Kravets finished first in the 200 freestyle (1:47.80), while Andrew Woo placed first in the 100 breaststroke (59.39), edging Vasilkoff by 0.19 seconds.

The Bulldogs' Christian Diaz took gold in the 1-meter (145.30) and 3-meter (143.25) diving events that took place Friday evening.

The 2026 CUNYAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championship concludes Sunday at 10 am at the Lehman APEX.
