CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
Jadyn Orava, John Jay (So., OH, Gilbert, Ariz.)
Orava tallied 20 kills on .259 hitting and added 14 digs, two blocks and two service aces in a key four-set conference victory against Brooklyn on Thursday night. In three victories last week, Orava totaled 51 kills on .229 hitting and totaled 29 digs, three aces and three blocks.
CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Adrienne Xiao, John Jay (Fr., S, La Verne, Calif.)
Xiao racked up 109 assists and added 16 digs, 10 service aces and seven blocks in a 3-0 week for the Bloodhounds. In Thursday's conference victory against Brooklyn, Xiao dished out 40 assists and notched five service aces, six digs and a pair of blocks.
CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Amina Moummad, Hunter (Sr., OH/RS, San Leandro, Calif.)
Moummad recorded 31 kills and 36 digs in a 2-1 week for the Hawks while hitting .231 and adding six service aces and three blocks. In a five-set victory against Hood she totaled 15 kills and 19 digs.
