CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
Jadyn Orava, John Jay (So., OH, Gilbert, Ariz.)
Orava repeats as Player of the Week after totaling 37 kills, 23 digs and six service aces in a 2-1 week for the Bloodhounds while hitting .250. In a win over Cairn she finished with 13 kills and six digs, while against Wilkes Orava posted 14 kills and 11 digs. She averaged 4.11 kills per set across nine sets.
CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Madeline Snyder, Hunter (Jr., S, Phoenix, Ariz.)
Snyder totaled 113 assists over 15 sets (7.53 a/s) and added 13 kills, 36 digs, six block assists and four service aces as the Hawks went 2-1 last week. She handed out 42 assists and notched 16 digs in a 3-2 win over Utica Saturday, followed by 41 assists and seven kills in a five-set victory over Bard.
CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Lily Mattison, Hunter (Sr., MB, Fairfield, Conn.)
Mattison registered 35 kills, 11 digs, six total blocks and five service aces as she led the Hawks to a 2-1 week. Hitting .175 for the week. Mattison averaged 2.33 kills per set. In a tri-match sweep of Utica and Bard Saturday, she finished with 27 kills and 10 digs in a pair of five-set victories.
