CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
Jadyn Orava, John Jay (So., OH, Gilbert, Ariz.)
Orava hit .482 and racked up 49 kills in a 4-0 week for the Bloodhounds while also recording 15 aces and 21 digs. In the Bloodhounds' conference win over Medgar Evers, Orava finished with six kills on .750 hitting and six service aces. Against SUNY Maritime on Thursday, Orava posted a double-double with 19 kills and 10 digs.
CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Madeline Snyder, Hunter (Jr., S, Phoenix, Ariz.)
Snyder racked up 107 assists (5.94 aps) and 43 digs (2.39 dps) in five matches for the Hawks. In Hunter's conference opener against Lehman, Snyder totaled 27 assists as the Hawks hit .277 while adding 13 digs. She tallied 30 assists and 16 digs in a five-set setback to Drew Friday.
CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Dibjot Kaur, Baruch (Sr., OH, Punjab, India)
In a 2-0 week for Baruch, Kaur totaled 20 kills (3.33 kps) and 26 digs (4.33 dps). In a 3-0 win against Purchase, Kaur totaled 15 kills and 13 digs. She added five kills and 13 digs in a win over CCNY to open conference play.
