CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week
Ahmed Mohamed, Hunter (Jr., OH, Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Mohamed totaled 18 kills and hit .519 in a three-set conference win over CCNY to close out the regular season Tuesday. He added five digs, three service aces and a block assist.
CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Benjamin Nirenstein, Baruch (Fr., OH, Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Nirenstein hit .452 for the week and totaled 24 kills in a pair of matches. In a four-set win against Rutgers-Newark Nirenstein tallied 18 kills on .536 hitting while adding six digs. He contributed six kills in a setback to Division I St. Thomas Aquinas.
CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Aaron Siu, Brooklyn (Sr., OH, Staten Island, N.Y.)
Siu put away match-high 13 kills, served up a pair of aces, and came up with four digs in Tuesday's key conference victory over Lehman that secured the No. 5 seed.
