CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week
Marcus Pardasie, New Jersey City (Jr., OH, Paramus, N.J.)
Pardasie repeats as Player of the Week as he totaled 17 kills apiece in wins against Purchase and John Jay, hitting .426 for the week. He also tallied 15 digs, with 10 coming in the conference win against the Bloodhounds.
CUNYAC Men’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Eddy Kang, Hunter (Fr., OH, Queens, N.Y.)
Kang totaled six kills on .462 hitting in Hunter's season-opening win against Purchase on Friday. He added a block assist and a pair of assists.
CUNYAC Men’s Volleyballball Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Peter Gavroff, Baruch (Sr., OH, Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Against a pair of top-five opponents, Gavroff totaled 23 kills, four blocks, four digs and a pair of service aces. He recorded 10 kills in a setback to No. 5 Stevens, then against the nation's top-ranked team, Springfield, Gavroff hit .217 and tallied 13 kills and a pair of service aces.
