CUNYAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Heaven Figueroa, Lehman (Gr., G, Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Figueroa led the Lightning to a 2-0 week, averaging 22.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 7.0 steals and 6.5 assists per game. She totaled 26 points and 16 rebounds to go along with eight assists and five steals in a win against CCNY, then recorded 19 points, nine steals and five assists against York.
CUNYAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Isabela Araujo, Lehman (Fr, G, Bronx, N.Y.)
Araujo was a part of two Lightning wins last week, averaging 9.0 points and 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per contest. She notched nine points apiece in wins against CCNY and York.
CUNYAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Michaela Lattimore, John Jay (Jr., F, Morristown, N.J.)
Lattiomore averaged 14.5 points and 19.5 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for John Jay while adding 2.5 steals per contest. In a win over Baruch, Lattimore totaled 12 points and grabbed a career-best 24 rebounds. Against Medgar Evers Friday, she recorded 17 points and 13 rebounds in a win.
