CUNYAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Alexa Charles, Hunter (Sr., G, Tarrytown, N.Y.)

Charles averaged 32.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 6.3 steals and 3.3 assists per game in a 2-1 week for the Hawks while shooting .494 from the floor (38-77).  She started the week by registering her second triple-double (33 points, 12 rebounds, 10 steals) of the season in a win over Merchant Marine Monday.  In a setback to Wesleyan Saturday she notched 24 points and 12 rebounds, scoring her 2,000th career point in the process.  Sunday against Albertus Magnus she poured in 40 points on 15-27 shooting to wrap up Wesleyan's Courtyard by Marriott Classic.

CUNYAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Isabela Araujo, Lehman (Fr., G, Bronx, N.Y.)

Araujo averaged 10.3 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in a 2-1 week for Lehman.  She finished with 19 points and six rebounds in a win over Penn State Berks, then put in nine points in a victory over Lancaster Bible Saturday.
 
CUNYAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Heaven Figureroa, Lehman (Gr., G, Brooklyn, N.Y.)

In a 2-1 week for the Lightining, Figueroa averaged 17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.7 steals and 3.0 assists per game.  She scored 17 points and had eight steals Friday against Penn State Berks, then recorded 19 points and nine rebounds in a win over Lancaster Bible at Goucher's Renie Amoss Classic.
