CUNYAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
Amar Ndiaye, Lehman (Sr., F, Harlem, N.Y.)
Ndiaye led the Lightning to a 2-0 week, averaging 18.5 points and 10.0 rebounds while shooting .737 from the floor (14-19). He finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds in a road win at Hunter, then notched 21 points and nine boards in a home victory against Baruch Saturday.
CUNYAC Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week
Jonte Wallace, York (Fr., F, Brooklyn, N.Y.)
In two games for the Cardinals last week, Wallace averaged 13.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. He finished with 19 points, eight boards and seven assists while shooting 50% (8-16) in a Friday setback to Brooklyn.
CUNYAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Jayden Jarrett, Hunter (Sr., F, Bronx, N.Y.)
In a 1-1 week for the Hawks, Jarrett recorded 18.0 points and 13.0 rebounds per game while shooting 15-28 (.536) from the floor. In a one-point home win against Medgar Evers, Jarrett recorded 25 points and 22 rebounds.
