Lehman's Ndiaye, Schulman Honored by ECAC

All-ECAC Release

DANBURY, Conn. 
- Lehman senior forward Amar Ndiaye was named Second Team All-ECAC, it was announced on Wednesday.  In addition, Lightning head coach Steve Schulman was honored as the ECAC Coach of the Year.

Ndiaye, the 2025-26 CUNY Athletic Conference men's basketball Player of the Year and a First Team All-Conference selection, averaged 11.6 points and 10.9 rebounds per game for the Lightning, who finished 21-7 overall and earned their first CUNYAC title since 2004.  He also led the team with 61 blocked shots and a shooting percentage of .538. 

He ranks fourth in the country in offensive rebounding and eighth in total rebounds.  He also ranks among the top 20 nationally in blocked shots and double-doubles (13).

Schulman, the CUNYAC Coach of the Year, guided the Lightning to a 21-7 overall record, including a 14-0 conference mark, and the program's first conference tournament title and NCAA tournament berth since 2004.
