CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL | SATURDAY RESULTS
BRONX, N.Y. - Hunter College and Baruch College continued to battle at the top of the standings at the 2026 CUNY Athletic Conference Women's Swimming and Diving Championship Saturday at the Lehman College APEX.
The Hawks, seeking their sixth straight conference crown, lead with 178 points, followed by the Bearcats, who have compiled 149 through two days of action. John Jay (107), Brooklyn (82) and Lehman (41) comprise the top five.
Hunter took three individual event victories on Saturday. Cara Chang was victorious in the 400 yard individual medley (5:24.32) and the 200 freestyle (2:11.26). Grace Valette took first in the 100 backstroke (1:02.31).
The Hawks also touched the wall first in the 800 freestyle relay (8:46.76).
Baruch took a pair of individual wins. Kira Chen placed first in the 100 butterfly (1:02.82), while Allyse Alexander grabbed gold in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.31). The Bearcats placed first in the 200 medley relay. (1:56.43).
Brooklyn's Magdalena Mackiewicz placed first in both the 1-meter (175.00) and 3-meter (159.25) diving events contested Friday night.
The 2026 CUNYAC Women's Swimming and Diving Championship concludes Sunday at 10 am at the Lehman APEX.
