CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL | FRIDAY RESULTS
BRONX, N.Y. - Baruch College leads after day one of the 2026 CUNY Athletic Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Championship being held at The APEX at Lehman College.
The Bearcats, who have won the last seven CUNYAC men's swimming and diving championships, racked up 112 points on the opening day of competition. Brooklyn sits second with 57 points, while York and Lehman sit tied for third with 12 points apiece.
Baruch took first in both relays contested Friday, touching the wall in 1:26.09 in the 200 yard freestyle relay and 3:35.87 in the 400 medley relay.
Bearcat junior Ramiel Fayngersh placed first in the 200 IM, posting a time of 2:01.11 to edge out teammate Daniel Vasilkoff (2:01.96). Baruch freshman Alex Boyarsky captured the 50 freestyle in 21.52 seconds, placing ahead of teammate Lucas Vasquez (21.73) and Brooklyn's Or Volpert (22.28).
Brooklyn's Michael Kravets was first in the 500 freestyle, posting a time of 4:58.03.
The 2026 CUNYAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championship resumes Saturday at 10 am at the Lehman APEX.
