Four CUNYAC Swimming Programs Honored for Academics by CSCAA

NEW YORK - Four CUNY Athletic Conference swimming programs were recently recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as Scholar All-America Teams for the fall, 2025 semester.

Baruch College saw both its men's and women's swimming programs recognized, with the Bearcat women compiling a 3.28 GPA and the men also posting a 3.28.  

The Hunter College women's program was recognized for posting a 3.48 GPA, while the Lehman College men earned a 3.24

To earn this prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Fall 2025 semester. 

“The academic commitment demonstrated by these teams is exceptional,” said Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA. “These student-athletes continue to set a standard for excellence by succeeding at the highest level both in the pool and in the classroom, and the CSCAA is proud to recognize their dedication and achievement.”

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development
