CUNYAC/Con Edison Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Sheridan Taylor, Baruch
Forward/Sophomore/Peekskill, NY/Peekskill
Sheridan Taylor has been named CUNYAC/Con Edison Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week of 1/28 – 2/3. In three conference wins, the forward averaged 15.3 points, 12 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.7 blocks in 26.3 minutes. The sophomore went 20-36 (55.6%) and 6-7 (85.7%) from the field and free-throw line, respectively. In a 80-53 blowout over Staten Island, the Peekskill native shot 72.7% (8-11) from the field registering 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals in 26 minutes. This is the second week Taylor has won this award during the 2012-2013 season. Baruch remains undefeated in the conference at 13-0 and has an overall record of 20-1.
CUNYAC/Con Edison Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week

Forward/Freshman/Baldwin, NY/Baldwin Senior
Ayanna Hudson has been named CUNYAC/Con Edison Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week of 1/28 – 2/3. The forward averaged nine points, 16 rebounds, 1.3 assists, one block and two steals. In a 67-58 win over CCNY, the freshman shot 5-11 (45.5%) netting 12 points and recorded an astounding 23 rebounds. She also added one assist, one block and three steals. For the week, the Baldwin native posted two double-doubles as the Hawks improved their conference record to 8-5.
