Top player of the week Justine O’Callahan helped Brooklyn to a 2-0 week with big conference wins over Lehman and Baruch. The forward averaged a double-double with 11.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game, to go along with 2.0 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.4 blocks per game. She also shot 50.0% (10-20) from the field for the week. Against Lehman (Jan. 18) the senior forward recorded a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds shooting 4-for-9 on the field. In the victory over Baruch, O’Callahan was just shy of another double-double performance with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Guard/5-foot-10/Freshman/Staten Island/Susan Wagner
Averaging 22 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest this week, Nikki Fabozzi is named CUNYAC/Con Edison Rookie of the week shooting 53.1% in the Dolphins’ 2-0. Fabozzi scored 25 points in the 52-50 conference victory over CCNY (Jan. 18) shooting 9-for-16 on the field, 2-for-5 downtown and 5-for-8 on the free throw line. She also pulled down six boards and registered two steals on the defensive end. In the win against John Jay (Jan. 21) the freshman guard netted 19 points shooting .500 (8-for-16) and knocking down 3-of-4 free throws. On the defensive end the Susan Wagner alum swiped five steals and had five rebounds.
