Isabella Tchij, Hunter (So., Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Tchij went 4-0 at the No. 1 position as Hunter extended its winning streak. She earned singles victories of 6-3, 6-3 against Purchase and 6-1, 6-3 against Sarah Lawrence while adding two doubles wins.
CUNYAC Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Apllinariia Stepanenko, Hunter (Fr., Staten Island, N.Y.)
Stepanenko went 4-0 at the No. 2 position in Hunter’s wins over Purchase and Sarah Lawrence. She earned singles victories of 6-0, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0 while adding doubles wins of 6-1 and 6-0.
CUNYAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Aishika Yadav, Baruch (Sr., Fresh Meadows, N.Y.)
Yadav went 2-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles during a 1-1 week for Baruch. She won at first singles (6-0, 6-0) and first doubles (6-1) in a 7-0 conference victory over Lehman before earning her 49th career singles win against defending Skyline champion Manhattanville, moving into second place in program history.
