2026 CUNYAC Preseason Poll/Players to Watch
CUNYAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Margaret Kensinger, Baruch (So, Queens, N.Y.)
Kensinger helped lead to Bearcats to a 2-0 start to their season. She posted a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles against Yeshiva in a season opening win, while in a 5-2 win against Hartwick, she was a 6-4, 6-3 victor at No. 5 singles.
CUNYAC Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Anusha Yadav, Baruch (Fr., Queens, N.Y.)
Yadav went a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles play against Yeshiva and Hartwick last week. Against Yeshiva, she was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at No. 2 singles and combined with Cindy Joyette to win No. 2 doubles 6-2. Against the Hawks, she was a 6-2, 6-3 victor at No. 2 singles and a 7-5 winner with Joyette at second doubles.
CUNYAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Madison Rossetti, Albertus Magnus (Jr., Hamden, Conn.)
Rossetti won both of her singles matches at No. 1 for the Falcons in setbacks to Sarah Lawrence and Bridgewater Stste. She also was victorious in her doubles match against Sarah Lawrence.
