CCNY Earns Top Seed in 2025 CUNYAC Baseball Championship

NEW YORK - City College of New York has earned the No. 1 seed in the 2025 CUNY Athletic Conference Baseball Championship that kicks off Tuesday, May 6 with a pair of single-elimination first round games.

CCNY, No. 2 seed John Jay and No. 3 seed Baruch all finished with identical 8-4 conference records.  The tie was broken by conference tie-breaking criteria, with the Beavers having the best record among common non-conference opponents.

The Beavers will face No. 4 seed Lehman in the first round, while the Bloodhounds and Bearcats will meet in Tuesday's other semifinal.

The best-of-three championship series is slated to kick off Friday, May 9 with two games, with an if-necessary game scheduled for Saturday, May 10.

First Round - Tuesday, May 6 (single-elimination, higher-seeded team serves as home team)
No. 1 CCNY (8-4) vs. No. 4 Lehman (0-12) - 4 pm
No. 2 John Jay (8-4) vs. No. 3 Baruch (8-4) - 7 pm

Championship Series - Friday, May 9
Game 1 - 12:00 pm
Game 2 - 3:00 pm

Saturday, May 10 (if necessary)
Game 3 - 12 pm
