CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Eden Chaftzadi, John Jay (Jr., M, Jerusalem, Israel)

Chaftzadi totaled two goals and an assist as the Bloodhounds opened up conference play 1-0-1 on the week.  In a 1-1 tie with defending conference champion Hunter Wednesday, Chaftzadi assisted on the lone John Jay goal.  He then scored twice in a 4-2 victory against Lehman on Sarturday, including the game-winner.

CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week
Alexander Cruz, York (Fr., GK, Baldwin, N.Y.)

Cruz posted a 0.50 goals-against average and .923 save percentage in the first two goalkeeper appearances of his collegiate career last week.  In a 1-1 tie against Lehman Wednesday, Cruz made seven saves and allowed one goal.  He followed that up on Saturday with a five-save effort in a shutout of Medgar Evers in a 1-0 victory.
 
CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Bitoshoke Chakma, CCNY (Fr., F, Queens, N.Y.)

Chakma totaled two goals and an assist in a 1-0-1 week for the Beavers.  He tallied a goal in CCNY's 4-0 win over Medgar Evers to open CUNYAC play Wednesday, then posted a goal and an assist in a 2-2 draw with Baruch Saturday evening.  Chakma assisted on the game-tying goal in the 86th minute.
