CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Nikala Metreveli, Brooklyn (Sr., F, Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Metreveli totaled a goal and three assists as the Bulldogs went 1-1 in non-conference play last week. He assisted on the lone goal at Sarah Lawrence on Tuesday, then had a hand in all three goals in Brooklyn's 3-0 shutout of SUNY Cobleskill, recording a goal and two assists.
CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week
Dzmitry Piatrashka, Baruch (Fr., GK, Staten Island, N.Y.)
Piatrashka made 11 saves in goal for the Bearcats over two games as Baruch posted two ties at the Potsdam College Classic against Nazareth (0-0) and SUNY Potsdam (1-1). He made six saves en route to his first collegiate shutout against the Golden Flyers Friday, then made five saves against the Bears Saturday. Piatrashka registered a .917 save percentage for the week.
CUNYAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Andrew Gavrilov, Brooklyn (Fr., F, Staten Island, N.Y.)
Gavrilov registered two goals last week, scoring in Brooklyn's setback at Sarah Lawrence Tuesday and Brooklyn's 3-0 win over SUNY Cobleskill Friday. Gavrilov has scored in all three games for the Bulldogs this season.
