NEW YORK, N.Y. (May 4, 2024) – The Queensborough Community College Tigers won the 2024 CUNYAC Men’s Community College Outdoor Track & Field Championship at Icahn Stadium.
Competing against CUNY senior colleges along with BMCC and Kingsborough, the Tigers turned in a strong effort at the championship meet. Queensborough completed the triple crown, winning the conference title in cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field.
Bryan Godette was the top overall performer in the high jump, recording a leap of 1.88m.
In the steeplechase,
Renaediaz Miller secured the top time at the meet with a mark of 11:46. It was one of two gold medal efforts for Queensborough, as Miller also won the 1,500m with a time of 4:31.64. He also won silver in the 5,000m (18:28.63).
David Adekoya won two gold medals on the day, taking first in the 110mH (15.63) and first in the 400mH (57.45).
