Queensborough Community College sophomore All-American David Adekoya was selected as the 2024 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Northeast Region Men's Track Athlete of the Year this weekend at the 2024 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Utica, New York.

Adekoya finished as the national runner-up in the 110m Hurdles finishing only .50 seconds behind the winner.
