Women's Outdoor Track & Field Finishes 12th at National Championships, 7 Earn All-America Honors

The Queensborough Community College women's outdoor track & field team completed their season with a 12th place overall finish at the 2024 NJCAA Division III National Championships, which were held at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York, from May 9-11, 2024.

Top finishes at the meet for the Tigers came from Medina Scribner in the 400m Hurdles with a fourth place finish, Julianne Cossin in the Triple Jump with a fifth place finish, Emely Palacio in the Heptathlon with a sixth place finish, Manar Elnoor in the 3,000m Steeplechase with an eighth place finish, Isabel Torres in the Heptathlon with an eighth place finish, the 4x800m Relay (Cossin, Elnoor, Sheila Da Silva, and Kayla Hernandez) with a sixth place finish, the 4x100m Relay (Cossin, Scribner, Da Silva, Hernandez) with a seventh place finish, and the 4x400m Relay (Cossin, Hernandez, Scribner, Da Silva) with a seventh place finish.

For their efforts, the following Queensborough women's outdoor track & field athletes earned All-America honors:
