CUNYAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
Paz Moran, Baruch

Paz earned her way into the Baruch record books, recording the fourth fastest time ever in a 5K race with a time of 20:08 at the NJIT Highlander Invitational on Saturday. She finished in 30th place against a field that included Army, Seton Hall, TCNJ, Molloy and Farmingdale State.
 
CUNYAC Women’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week
Mikaelle Cesar, Hunter

Mikaelle Cesar was the top finisher for Hunter at the NJIT Highlander Invitational this weekend, as she helped the Hawks to a 14th place finish out of 31 teams across all three NCAA divisions, with a time of 22:00.
 
CUNYAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Shannon Ferri, Hunter

Shannon Ferri was the Hawks’ second-best finisher at the NJIT Invitational this weekend, as she ran the women’s 5k in 22:21.
 
The 2024 CUNYAC Cross Country Championship is scheduled for Sunday, October 27 at Van Cortlandt Park.
 
ABOUT THE CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK ATHLETIC CONFERENCE (CUNYAC)
The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) is an NCAA Division III and NJCAA Division III conference with 14 members that reach across all five boroughs of New York City.
