2024 CUNYAC Women's Cross Country All-Star Awards and Team Announced

FLUSHING, N.Y. - The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced its women's cross country All-Star Awards and All-Star Team for 2024 recently.  The All-Star Team is based on the finishing order of the 2024 CUNYAC Men's Cross Country Championship held on October 27.

Baruch's Paz Moran was voted Runner of the Year for the second straight year.  Hunter's Mikaelle Cesar was selected Rookie of the Year, while John Jay head coach Jose Miranda was named Coach of the Year.

Sophomore Moran finished first at the CUNYAC Championship for the second straight season to lead the Bearcats to a third place finsh.  She has posted four other top-10 finishes this season, and placed ninth in Saturday's ECAC North Championship.

Cesar claimed top rookie honors after finishing sixth at the conference championship, helping the Hawks win their 10th straight CUNYAC Championship.  She was a two-time conference Rookie of the Week.

Miranda, in his second season at the helm of the Bloodhounds, guided John Jay to its second straight runner-up finish at the CUNYAC Championship.  The Bloodhounds had three runners finish in the top-15 to earn All-Star accolades.

ABOUT THE CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK ATHLETIC CONFERENCE (CUNYAC)
The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) is an NCAA Division III and NJCAA Division III conference with 14 members that reach across all five boroughs of New York City.
