2022 ECAC Division III All-ECAC Team and Major Award Winners
DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Collegiate Conference (ECAC) announced its 2022 Division III Baseball All-ECAC Team and major award winners, and earning recognition was Baruch College standout
Joseph Cocozza.
The 2022 CUNYAC Player of the Year, Cocozza had a sensational campaign in a Bearcats uniform. The infielder started all 25 games for Baruch, batting .326 with a .967 OPS and .506 slugging percentage. Cocozza was the team leader in total bases (45), hits (29), runs scored (33) and runs batted in (29). He produced eight multi-RBI and seven multi-hit performances, reaching base in 21 consecutive outings. In addition, Cocozza drew 15 walks and produced 11 stolen bases.
Most importantly, Cocozza led the Bearcats to a regular season title and second straight postseason championship.

The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-two-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III.
