NEW YORK- For the sixth straight season and conference record 13th time overall, Hunter College captured the CUNY Athletic Conference women's outdoor track and field championship on Saturday at Icahn Stadium.
The Hawks finished with 223 points overall to beat out 2026 indoor champion Medgar Evers (199). CCNY took third with 101 points, with Lehman (53) and York (2) rounding out the field.

Brianna Lindo was named Championship Most Valuable Performer after a dominant performance that saw her win nine events on the day. On the track, Lindo finished first in the 100 (12.61), 200 (25.87), 400 (59.54), 100 meter hurdles (15.37) and 400 hurdles (1:09.64). In field events, Lindo was first in the hammer throw (30.19m), triple jump (10.18m), high jump (1.46m) and long jump (4.85m).
The Hawks won five individual events en route to the title. Senior
Shannon Ferri captured first in both the 1500 (5:07.85) and 5000 (19:40.19), while
Mikaelle Cesar took home gold in the 800 (2:30.66).
Taelyn Murray was first in the discus (34.04m), while the Hawks' 4x400 relay consisting of
Orianna Blackman,
Rachelle Griffith,
Alicia Clarke and Cesar won with a time of 4:21.92.
Kenia Irish-Bramble placed first in the 3000 steeplechase for Medgar Evers (14:07.66), while the Cougars' 4x100 relay took first in a time of 51.92 seconds, consisting of Lindo,
Rinnah Brown,
Danajah Lawrence and
Jada Lambert.
CCNY's
Karuna Aikawa opened the day by winning the 10,000 meters in a time of 46:24.18.
Serena Warner was victorious in the shot put with a toss of 10.85 meters.
Lehman's
Enalyse Pacheco was first in the javelin with her throw of 26.95 meters.
