CUNYAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Track Athlete of the Week/Rookie of the Week
Brianna Lindo, Medgar Evers (Fr., Queens, N.Y.)
On the track, at the Delaware Invitational, Lindo contributed to the 5th place 4x100m (52.33), ran 13.06 (100m) and 26.57 (200m) and placed 2nd in the 100m hurdles (15.50). Lindo also contributed to the 6th place 4x400m (4:38.65). At the Gallaudet Bison Classic, she added a 59.52 (400m) and 1:08.71 (400m hurdles), both CUNYAC-qualifying performances. In the field, Lindo cleared 1.50m in the high jump, placed second in the triple jump (10.43m), and competed in the throws with marks of 27.12m (hammer), 23.78m (hammer), 7.58m (shot put), and 16.06m / 16.77m (javelin) across both meets. Her high jump mark is currently No. 2 in the conference.
CUNYAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week
Taelyn Murray, Hunter (Sr., McDonough, Ga.)
At the Southern Connecticut Wilton Wright Invitational Friday, Murray posted the top javelin throw in the conference to date (36.75 meters). On Sunday at the MSMC Knights Invitational, Murray posted three marks that are currently No. 2 in the conference in the shot put (10.76 meters), the triple jump (10.12 meters) and the long jump (4.74 meters).
CUNYAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Serena Warner, CCNY (Sr., Nanuet, N.Y.)
Warner posted the top shot put throw in the conference to date at the Rutgers Relay with a toss of 11.61 meters. She also had a javelin throw of 27.30 meters and a throw of 31.91 meters in the hammer throw, which currently sits third in the conference.
