CUNYAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Track Athlete of the Week
Shannon Ferri, Hunter (Sr., Cold Spring, N.Y.)
Ferri ran 5:07.59 in the 1500 meters to place second at The Big Hurt Invitational. It marks the top time in the conference in the event this season. She also ran a 68-second split in the Hawks' 4x400 relay that placed second (4:36.15), the top time in CUNYAC in that event to date.
CUNYAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week
Alanis Vasquez, Lehman (So., Bronx, N.Y.)
Vasquez placed fourth in the javelin throw at the Battle of Madison with her toss of 28.21 meters, currently the top mark in the conference to date. She also recorded a mark of 21.46 meters in the discus throw and 7.76 meters in the shot put. Her discus throw is currently fourth in the conference.
CUNYAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Rookie of the Week
Brianna Lindo, Medgar Evers (Fr., Queens, N.Y.)
At the Yellow Jacket Invitational, Lindo placed second in the 400 with a time of 1:01.07 and the 800 with a time of 2:32.13, with her 800 time currently No. 2 in the conference. In field, she was second in the triple jump (10.50m) and seventh in the long jump (4.50m). Additionally, she competed in the throws—recording marks in the shot put (7.86m), javelin (9.45m), hammer (26.94m), and discus (10.72m).

Daria Niebrzydowski, Hunter (Sr., Staten Island, N.Y.)
Niebrzydowski took first in both the triple jump (9.22m) and the high jump (1.46m) at The Big Hurt Invitational this weekend.
