2025-26 CUNYAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Awards, All-Conference Announced

NEW YORK – The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) has announced its All-Conference awards and team for the 2025-26 women’s indoor track & field season.
 
Medgar Evers' Brianna Lindo was tabbed as both the Track Athlete of the Year and Field Athlete of the Year.  CCNY freshman Jennifer Hepburn was voted as Rookie of the Year, while Medgar Evers head coach Hugh Reid was voted Coach of the Year.  The Cougars' Sarah Vallon was named the winner of the Sportsmanship Award.
 
Track Athlete of the Year: Brianna Lindo, Medgar Evers
Lindo, a four-time CUNYAC Track Athlete of the Week, ranked among the conference top-10 in four track events, as she was first in the 60-meter hurdles (9.17), second in the 800 (2:29.36), fourth in the 200 (26.51) and fifth in the 60-meter dash (8.22).  The CUNYAC Championship Most Valuable Performer, she won gold in the conference championship in the 60 hurdles and was second in the 200 and third in the 60.
 
Field Athlete of the Year: Brianna Lindo, Medgar Evers
Earning Field Athlete of the Week honors three times, Lindo owns the top mark in the conference in the high jump (1.53m), the long jump (5.01m) and the triple jump (11.31m) while sitting second in the weight throw (11.05m) and sixth in the shot put (8.74m).  She won gold in all three jumps events at the CUNYAC Championship.
 
Rookie of the Year: Jennifer Hepburn, CCNY
A two-time Track Athlete of the Week, Hepburn owns the conference's top mark in the 400 (1:00.69) and the No. 2 time in the 60 (8.02) and 200 (26.26) in the conference.  She captured gold in all three events at the CUNYAC Championship.
 
Coach of the Year: Hugh Reid, Medgar Evers
Reid was named women's indoor Coach of the Year for the second time in his three seasons at Medgar Evers and the eighth time in his career spanning CCNY, Lehman and MEC.  This season he guided the Cougars to their third straight women's indoor crown and Medgar Evers had the top mark in the conference during the season in 10 different events.
